FROM A LIFE...A COLLECTION OF IMAGES IN PROSE, PAINT AND PHOTOGRAPHS.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out and yelling joyously .... "WOOO HOOO what a ride!"

Illustration Friday - Instinct
Solomon was often asked about his success as a fisherman. Invariably his reply was enigmatic.“Just instinct,” he'd say with a wry smile.
"Instinct" is the most frequent path I've taken with my life. Some success, some not so. And NO regrets either way. Tessa, the picture of the fisherman shows contentment...and we all want that, I think.. Have a great weekend! Barb
Tessa, thank you for you lovely comment on my blog. i am still going through your blog, but i thought i'd pause for a moment and say hello back. there is so much to ponder and so much to see here.
i love the vibrancy of your pictures. have you seen the work of chris ofili? especially his portraits? your work has a similar spirit. what a full and interesting life you lead!
I absolutely LOVE reading your comments. I just can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate the time you take to read my posts. To paraphrase Shakespeare - "I can no other answer make, but, thanks, thanks and thanks again."
