White Rabbit Dilemma - I'm late..I'm late..

.....for Shadow Shot Sunday. I had chosen the photographs I wanted to use, but got thoroughly side-tracked! Do please pop over to Hey Harriet to browse through some really stunning Shadow Shots from photographers around the planet.

Way off the itinerary of most of Italy's art-loving visitors, Lecce sits on the southeastern tip of Italy's boot, waiting to stupefy us with its little-known magnificence.

I love the graphic symmetry of these windows and how the hard shadows contrast against the soft ochre sandstone of this beautiful building.

Here the dark strength of shadow highlights these delicate, curving whitewashed arches so reminiscent of North Africa.

We have a white rabbit, and it would appear he's never late for anything. He lazes around perfectly on time all day. Pretty photos, Tessa!

Wow - re your photos. Just stunning! I guess there were lots of cultural influences in that part of the world - North African, Spanish, Turkish, Greek. Looks absolutely amazing. What was the food like?

Something utterly fascinating about windows isn't there ? although I am prone to wanting to gaze out of them.

Architecture plays with our sense of geometry. Your second photo captures the symmetry so well. Good luck catching up on life.

I'm always amazed by how each photograph reveals something about the person taking it. It surprises me that we can all be so different.

Thanks for all of the kind words over at my place.
