Better Late than Never Illustration Friday - Resolve

Lola says that the only way to resolve the inevitable build up of daily stress levels is to have a postprandial power nap every afternoon.

“Preferably under a palm tree,” she adds sagely.

Aah, the colours! Making me homesick for Africa! And a daily nap under a palm tree - what an ideal suggestion! I wish I could grow palm trees here, but last night we had -12 °C...

It's cold here in Paris too, but your wonderful painting warms me up:)

I'm all over this! It's so true, we should nap more. I really love your bold colors.

Yes, indeed.
This sounds like a perfect recipe for bliss.......

If only I could take such a nap!

I have been implementing "6-Second Stress Relief" -- put on a sparkling smile, take a deep breath through your feet, relax your shoulders, face and tongue, and give yourself an affirmation, like, "things are going to turn out all right!" It sort of works.

Fantastic illustration! I love the colors and composition and simplicity. And thanks for the great comments your left for my illustration on resolve. Means a lot!

I totally agree with Lola! Much wisdom are in these words. This is just more of your fantastic work! Are you thinking of doing a story book? Your pictures speak so loud and clear! This is simply beautiful!

Really vibrant colours. We both seem to like that approach.

Sorry I have been silent for so long - was away on the west coast for a family wedding.

Sage advice from Lola indeed and well illustrated by your colorful painting. I love how your blog reveals the story behind the image. Today it is raining ice, our trees are bare and I feel like hibernating. Happy Creative New Year!

I know people that swear by a 10-20 power nap every afternoon and apparently it works...not sure it means they actually sleep though!!
