“Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.”
So far, through the sale of the Armadillo Limited Edition Prints, we have raised $5,326.92 for the Gogos, the orphans and Possible Dreams International - Dr. Maithri's Swaziland Project. Thank you, thank you from the very heart of me. To every single one of you who have reached out with such caring generosity from all over the globe to help build that bridge, I say ngiyabonga. You are all, every one of you, wonderful beyond words. Seriously. xxxx Tessa
Marguerite K, you are truly an earth angel. Time and again you have reached out and touched the hearts of the people of this little nation. Bless you. September 2010: Yet again this amazing lady has helped our Gogos and much of the accolade must to go to her for the fact that we have now reached the $5,000 mark...and still growing! Special grateful hugs to you Marguerite - thank you for your gentle grace.
Many thanks, too, to Caroline (Caroline's Studio) for her contribution to PDI. Dr. M and the Gogos join me in saying a very sincere siyabonga.

This is so cool - I feel like dancing :) Happy Friday :)
Yes, contagious in many ways, transporting you body and soul, beating in your veins, pacing your heart beats.
My explanation for this need of ours is the need to touch others in a ritual way, to feel connected in the same feeling.
Just fabulous paintings!! Love them. They are so full of life and happiness. Very contagious! :)
Contagious, like you Tessa. I can't imagine a life without music, it punctuates my day, my routines, my interior song.
Those paintings are stunning. I've figured it out: it's the light they emit. The energy they unleash, the grain one feels with the eyes. You capture the essence of those figures and translate it in color and two-dimensional beings.
There's a piece of Abruzzo in the middle of my house...
I was dancing like she is an hour ago.
And it felt great.
Tessa,
I love the movement in the dancers ...and the boys posture too is great you are very talented and we are lucky to share your spirited creations.
Happy dancing days
Very sharp, bright colors, Tessa. Such bountiful paintings, full of good cheer. It must be a joy to make them and have them turn out the way you want them to. Such a happy occupation. It's contagious!
All you need is some music and you have a party, that's what the second painting tells.
lalala, skipping and dancing and humming...waving at you Tessa!
Beautiful art, beautiful sentiment!!
why am i so drawn to that white fluke? and why am i ready to dance with my fingers still on the keyboard?
tessa, your colors are so vibrant and your people so simple you create magic. that's all there is too it. i LOVE your work! i LOVE it!
xo
its a good contagious thing to spread around!
It is contagious, indeed. That's why I have never understood the whole drugs+ music= enjoyment malarkey. No, music IS my drug. And my disease. Because it IS highly contagious (listening to The Doors's Roadhouse Blues, live in California). My head is shaking side to side and I love, love, love this post. Many thanks.
Greetings from London.
It does take over, an infection of the soul. Your painting speaks this in volumes. I laugh a little though thinking of the few audiences I've been a part of in Canada. We so try to resist.
Love the vibrancy, Tessa!
And there's a little something for you over at my place :-)
I especially like the movement in this second piece, Tessa.
you are so right! beautiful in every way :)
fabulous and i too feel like dancing now - and music is the food of life too :-)
That's very true. Music is contageous and addictive... love those pictures!
