I had to stand exactly aligned with tree-trunk in order to get this shadow shot in the snow covered field behind our house......
Whether the weather be fine
Or whether the weather be not.
Whether the weather be cold
Or whether the weather be hot
We'll weather the weather.
Won’t we?
These whimsical tin balancing toys reside on a windowsill in our sitting room. With the light from a snow-bright wintery sun, their shadows were sharply defined on the wall…..

What unusual pictures - nice to see the sun shines somewhere still!
rare photos, I like them!
wow, i absolutely love the shadow/snow/tree shot! how beautiful...
wow wow wow..that tree over the snow is outstanding!? for a moment i thought it was a baobab over magadigadi pans in botswana!? x j
I wish I could take photos as intriguing as yours Tessa! It was in the teens here (that would be below zero by a lot in celsius) and today it's 65 F, room temp and sunny - I've got the windows open in the house. We are weathering the weather, whether it's down or whether it's up!
These are fantastic! Shadow can be so much fun!~
Fascinating photographs. Really wonderful!
These are wonderful... your artist's eye shows in everything you do. I enjoyed the words that you put with them too.
I scrolled down the page a bit and love your paintings. They are so richly warm and beautiful!
Love this!! I take it Bwana did not go out to shovel the snow...his gear is squeaky clean. :-) Good thing, otherwise we would not be treated to the wonderful shadow of the tree - the best!!

Hey, I didn't notice your name in Mr Linky. I'll go check now & if not there will pop it in :)
Loved the boots and snow.

I think this is part of the poem, maybe not.
I love the colors in the first photo.
You have some really fantastic pictures and shadows there.

Your snow tree shadow is STUNNING! It holds an entire story. Beautiful and I love your Guy poem :-)
I couldn't stop at just one!
you are a master of shadow composition!!
I love these, with the shadows playing, very much!
Who would ever believe that shadows could be so interesting. I wouldn't have.
How you can make muddy boots and a hat look like the high life I don't know.
Your trees and the toys are fantastic and the poems and quotes are amazing.
Brilliant as usual.
Love Renee
p.s. Is there anything you can't do? Like how good are you at blowing milk bubbles?
Love Renee
These are just stellar!!! I loved each one. What a great collection. I really love the boots and hat. Brilliant!
Your wellies with a cowboy attitude made me laugh. The tree shadow is simply gorgeous! It looks more like a painting than a photo.
Cool!
"Happiness"..the shadow of the hat and boots fit perfectly..as they have created an "h"!
Oh~ the snow etched around the tree is beautiful and I love, love the fisherman through the window pane!
Seeing life through your eyes brings a smile to my face each visit here!
Thank you Tessa.
