‘DANCING REFLECTIONS II’
Despite a rather shaky start, she felt that the rehearsal had gone well.
“Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.”
So far, through the sale of the Armadillo Limited Edition Prints, we have raised $5,326.92 for the Gogos, the orphans and Possible Dreams International - Dr. Maithri's Swaziland Project. Thank you, thank you from the very heart of me. To every single one of you who have reached out with such caring generosity from all over the globe to help build that bridge, I say ngiyabonga. You are all, every one of you, wonderful beyond words. Seriously. xxxx Tessa
Marguerite K, you are truly an earth angel. Time and again you have reached out and touched the hearts of the people of this little nation. Bless you. September 2010: Yet again this amazing lady has helped our Gogos and much of the accolade must to go to her for the fact that we have now reached the $5,000 mark...and still growing! Special grateful hugs to you Marguerite - thank you for your gentle grace.
Many thanks, too, to Caroline (Caroline's Studio) for her contribution to PDI. Dr. M and the Gogos join me in saying a very sincere siyabonga.

cool !!! i love it...
and smiled over your drawing in previous post...so cute...
However, her face reflects her feelings about the shaky start...
What a beauty, a resting dancer, a moment to collect herself.
I love her hair! So sexy!
Tessa, I created a new special award and you are one of its first recipients. Will you please do me the honor of accepting it? Thanks.
wonderful -- those curls are fantastic and the gentle curve of the knee...
This is a great illo for IF! I just started mine...hoping to finish it soon!

You have captured this so incredibly well! Stunning work! xx
This is so beautiful!! Look at all that delicious line work! Tessa it's just WONDERFUL!!! This made me smile so big today. Great piece.
Oh Tessa, you are so sweet. You nailed it right on the head about the sisterhood. It one characterized by mutual respect, not necessarily uniformity in beliefs and philosophies, we are all so different and stand on so many points within the spectrum of humanity but there are a few unspoken rules that we follow. These rules are set by individual bloggers and who knows maybe we find the ones who share the same rules and believe in the same premise:
Respect
Admiration
Recognition of boundaries
Acknowledgement of personal space
Empathy
Openness
Honesty
Civility
Spellcheck
You are one of my very few favorites, in case you did not know.
Sincerely,
Ces
I love her and her silky reflective face.
tessa, yay! finally i can leave a comment without blogger throwing a temper tantrum. so you sketch too. i like the expression on her face: shaky but also accepting.
wishing you a good day and a good week.

This is an incredible illustration! Wow! I want to see more.
Happy 4th!
I love how no one style (save for overall human class) defines you.
Tessa, I have just become aware of your kindness over on Amazon. I don't go to Amazon for fear of finding scary words. Our mutual friend, Anna, let me in on your secret.
Thank you so much.
So simple...so beautiful...it says so much.
Was this done with charcoal? I loved it. It is so expressive, the lines are delicate and at the same time rough. I know it sounds contradictory but I get a sea of emotions watching this drawing. Disappointment mixed with reflection, her eyes (his eyes? Why do I thnk it is a woman? It might well be a bloke with long hair) are semiclosed and almost dreamy, maybe even thinking of what it could have been. Many thanks for this lovely present on this nice and sunny Sunday afternoon.
Greetings from London.
Hi Tessa, There's an award waiting for you at my blog. Feel free to participate and pass it on, or just enjoy it without doing anything else! Hugs, Silke
Great drawing - and the Cat on the Hot Thin Ruth in your previous post was very funny! Sounds like you had a great day out on the stunning English coast, and I agree that Pimms is the right thing to drink on a hot day like that. Great photos, I haven't been to the seaside for ages and now I really miss it.
Hope you enjoyed The Uncommon Arrangements.

Beautiful, beautiful lines and design!
Your talent never ceases to astound me my friend.
You have captured her so well, the nuances of feeling, the soul in her!
Much love, M
this is wonderful - i'm really enjoying your sketches - please do some more! xo
Completly brillant, you can say so much in such a small amount of space it constantly amazes me. It's like haiku art.
