Illustration Friday – Pattern

‘Lori’s Diamond’

It’s true that life forms illogical patterns.   I think those patterns are mostly haphazard,  but hugely exciting and full of beauties which I try to catch as they fly by, for who knows whether any of them will ever return.

I think they are for the most part haphazard too. I'm glad you "caught" this one and are sharing it with us. Stunning.

OH! TESSA!

now that i have held two of your prints in my very own hands, i can just see these colors dancing off the page. you capture something remarkable when you paint. some of it, if not all, is your love of a people.

you are amazing.

Hi Tessa

your beauty is stunning

her patterns a visual treat.

I have been thinking over this haphazardness of life's patterns in the last 24 hours...and like you I think a lot of it is arbitrarily thrown together in the first instance but then perhaps we make some form or shape or colour blending and compilation out of it all and see it as a pattern...we give some sense to the chaos, some meaning to the randomness of experiences...and come away with a thing of beauty...as you so deftly have illustrated...

Happy days

(Can I ask...is that gold leaf you have used behind her? The tone of the colour is lovely and I've been experimenting with gold leaf which is why I'm asking)

Sunning! Love how you described it... so poetic, so true! The artwork is amazing... it depics all the tribulations of life coming together creating one big glorified jumble. And yet people still have to stand tall and proud to get throug it.
