I must now pass on this award to those bloggers who I feel have light in their souls. It’s a terribly difficult task because so many of the blogs I follow are, in so many ways, inspiring and deeply enriching. Many of the wonderful people I’ve come across out there in the Blogosphere make me bellow with raucous laughter, or have me nodding in recognition. There are those artists, writers and poets who leave me gasping with admiration. Each day I can share sweet memories or read beautifully told, brave stories of heartbreak and healing. I can gaze at evocative photographs or find a new book to add to my list, discover a great recipe or learn a little more about life in far-off places. It is a wondrous place, this world we share.
I’d like to pass on the Luz en el alma Premio to just a few of the amazing people I’ve ‘met’ and whose blogs hold so much resonance for me. All of you truly have light in your souls.

Tessa, wow! You picked so well!! And even me among all those so deserving ones - especially yourself! How did you put that lovely award picture on your blog? I agree so much with your choices, but I humbly bow that you detect a light in my soul, too.
Vielen Dank, meine Freundin!
Congrats on your award. She gave me one, too. I have been a bit slow with putting it up, though.
Greetings from London.
Congratulations, Tessa, you deserve it so much - and thank you. What a lovely award! I love your choices, but now I'm wondering who I'm going to pass it on to, since you've chosen most of those I'd have chosen too! :-)
I am deeply humbled and honoured to be in such wonderful company as you and those other wonderful blogs... some like Mama and Renee whose grace have already touched my heart...
You are a light in this wolrd and your song of love touches mine and reminds me that inspite of all the craziness and chaos of this world...
there is still a unitive force...still a connector that runs through us like a silken thread... like the drumbeat of truth....
Binding us...one to another... in a tapestry of humanity...an ocean of love...
My love to you dear friend,
Tessa, thank you so much for this honor! I feel that I'm in high cotton with all the wonderful writers you've acknowledged. Thank you again, so very much.
Sandi (at Holding Patterns)
I share your thoughts about blogging, Tessa. And so beautifully expressed! I've discovered you on David McMahon's blog and so happy to have done so.
Looking forward to stopping by your 'neighborhood' again and again.
I am just getting around to catching up on my BATW reading for the last week. I am absolutely charmed to death over Hampshire! It looks like an absolutely exquisite place to live! I must say, I'm slightly jealous of you. :) Your blog is very cultured and interesting--I will be subscribing and returning to read more of your posts.
You have a poetic spirit about you that I love--I've always had kind of a romantic/poetic side inside of me, so it goes crazy when fed by inspiration.
I think I will have to visit Hampshire one of these days. In its quaintness, it looks like one of the most idyllic places in the world.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful tour with us, and I look forward to reading more from you!
In His arms,
P.S. I LOVE your name! :)
Tessa! Luz en el alma Premio should have your name permantly inscribed at the top! If there were an emmy...an oscar..for blogs you would have one of those too. Since my first visit to you I know I'll leave with my heart and soul filled and with a smile ALWAYS on my lips.
thank you for thinking of me now, I am completely honored to be included with this group.
Congrats Tessa. Well deserved indeed. I also whole heartedly agree with your choices in passing on the award. Well done all.
Goodness! What an honour - no really! THANKS!
congrats Tessa and well deserved! your blog really is a shining light - and i agree totally with your list tho a bit gobsmacked to see me on it!! thanks so much!!! it is a huge honour to be counted on this illustrious roll call :-) blog on everyone xx
Tessa, congratulations and well deserved! I love your shadow shot below. It makes me want to step in the door, as inviting as your blog posts. In Oxford there is a rather ordinary house where T.E. Lawrence lived. I like this cottage better. Gorgeous portrait below too. You capture character as well as gesture.
Wow. Thank you Tessa. Most humbly accepted, and thanks also for pointing me in the direction of new reading! ANd congrats to you, I think your blog is really outstanding - so unique, poetic, visually delicious, so YOU, I guess.!
Congrats on the super-swank award! You totally deserve it!
OH YOU VERY SWEET SHINING PERSON! THANK-YOU!!! xxx janelle
Congrats Tessa and thank you so much!!! I am honored and inspired. Thank you. Asante sana!
Re Cloud's Hill.
I have never been there but lived at 2, Polstead Road in Oxford where TE spent some years. ( I was at art school.) It was his mother's house, tall, austere, a little grim.
There was the little house in the garden where he did quite a lot of writing.
Interesting letters by TE re S.Sassoon.
Never quite managed to get all the way through 7 Pillars though my father's copy sits on my shelf.
Thanks so much Tessa - I appreciate my award so much, very honoured to receive it!! love & african greetings :-) xx
Bless you right back. xoxoxo
Oh Tessa, I am so honored, yet humbled to be included in this way!
